Hello and welcome to the Kyan Pascal blog site. I learned to program in Pascal during my course work in Computer Science in the late 80’s and early 1990’s. Additionally I owned a series of 8-bit computers during the time (Timex Sinclair 1000, 1500), Commodore Vic 20 and Tandy Color Computer 2. As a school teacher I learned and taught Apple Works on Apple II/e’s. But I never had the chance to try an Atari 400/800 or any Atari for that matter. So why would I want to? Well through listening to Antic the Atari 8-bit Podcast and Floppy Days podcast I’ve become interested to see what all the excitement is about. I have over the past 3 years or so been buying and selling retro computers and if you are interested in some of those stories you can check out my other blogs at traidna.wordpress.com (my “award winning” retro challenge projects) and basicinrom.wordpress.com
In this blog I want to provide access to Kyan Pascal, instructions on access, how to set up and use it, and programming examples as I learn along my way.
So please feel free to leave me comments or feedback on this blog, or any questions you might have and I’ll try and answer as I go along.
To see how I got all of this started select “Setting Up” from the menu above.
